Job summary

National Church Residences in Ohio is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks across our senior housing communities.

You will supervise outside vendors, respond to on-call emergencies, prepare vacant units for move-in, maintain security and fire safety systems, and keep thorough maintenance records while upholding our mission of healthy, independent living for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years maintenance experience.
• Must be on-site and able to respond to on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident units and common areas, including carpentry and painting.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in, including painting and cleaning.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance; keep logs and records.
• Maintain security systems, fire alarms, and door locks.
• Assist outside vendors and coordinate service work.
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Maintain communication with residents and staff; report issues.
• Follow safety policies and comply with all regulations.
