Job summary

WGA Legacy Property Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to safeguard the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas across our Houston properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, complete repairs, and execute the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, coordinating with vendors, maintaining safety and code compliance, documenting activity, and assisting with inspections.

Qualifications

• In-house work knowledge of sheetrock/paint and general repairs as needed.
• Appliance repair experience is preferred for on-site maintenance.
• Basic knowledge in general repairs and safety compliance.
• Proactive approach in inspection to oversee issues and ensure quality work.
• On Call availability and ability to respond quickly to requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot remotely to support team members.
• Experience with making Readies and completing work orders efficiently.
• Budget awareness and cost-conscious maintenance decisions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Obtains materials from maintenance department and tracks usage.
• Completes documentation so requests are properly recorded.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports safety, risk management, and compliance through trainings and meetings.
• Writes inventory, requisitions, and maintenance reports.
