Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety, cleanliness and functionality standards. The role involves handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and making-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing systems, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining grounds and common areas. The position requires OSHA-related safety awareness and a flexible schedule, including on-call

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Tracks inventory and coordinates with maintenance for materials and tools, returning unused items to proper locations.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assists in grounds and common areas maintenance and performs basic cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using tools and materials efficiently.

Education
