Job summary

The Dolben Company, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician for a vibrant community in Gaithersburg, MD. You will perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests to keep 386 apartment homes in top condition.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical/appliance repair, and on-call availability. Strong communication, reliable transportation, and comfort with basic computer tools are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency preferred but not required in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs.

Responsibilities

FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for being a great team member of this high energy community with 386 apartment homes in Gaithersburg, MD. You will assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by always providing a quality living environment for our residents.

As a Maintenance Technician (MT), your primary responsibilities include:

• Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance
• Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements
