Job summary

Clarios in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and plant utility equipment across multiple shifts. You’ll work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing preventive maintenance and interpreting schematics.

Qualifications include 3+ years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma, and experience with hydraulics and 480V electrical systems. PLC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge.
• Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480v), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred but is not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and plant utility equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operations
• Install, relocate, and modify equipment including electrical, gas, water, and air hookups
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Fabricate and repair tools, fixtures, and guards as needed using shop equipment (lathe, mill, welder, grinder, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts, and work orders
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including LOTO and PPE use
