Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems. You will diagnose issues, replace parts, and minimize downtime while working with 120/208/480 VAC circuits and PLCs.

Applicants should have 4+ years of industrial maintenance, a high school diploma, and strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v).
• Ability to read schematics, equipment manuals and work orders.
• PLC troubleshooting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and adjust to minimize downtime.
• Work with 120/208/480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts).
• Operate shop tools as needed (lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws).
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections for reliability.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE and LOTO.

• Starting at $41.34/hour plus shift differential
• Annual general wage increase
• Weekly pay
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Shift

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM –10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Standard schedule: 12 days on / 2 days off, with 12-hour shifts on weekends
• Overtime and weekend work is required

Shift Differential

• 8-hour weekday shifts: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr
• 12-hour weekend shifts: Day shift +$1.00/hr; Night shift +$1.50/hr

Job Responsibilities

• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred, but not required
