Charter Next Generation in Lexington, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift to support production and maintenance tasks. The role includes a 15-day-per-month schedule with 5:00pm–5:00am shifts (Sunday–Tuesday and every other Saturday, plus a rotating 3-4 day cycle).

The candidate will operate a forklift, use MVP software, and handle filtration systems. The position emphasizes strong communication, basic mechanical skills, and a willingness to learn in a technical

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift and move materials as part of maintenance operations.
• Operate MVP (Maintenance Software System).
• Inspect and manage extrusion/finishing/recycling filters.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Monitor stocked materials and assist with inventory.
• Use company vehicles when required.

The Role

From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

• B - Night Shift: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturdays)
• D - Night Shift: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday)

What You'll Do

• Drive fork truck

• Use office programs, especially Excel
• Communicate well with Production departments.
• Maintain a clean/organized work environment
• Keep track of stocked materials/run inventory
• Use of Company Vehicles

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Wages ranging from $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
• Additional $2.50 per hournight shift differential.
