Job summary

Charter Next Generation is seeking a Direct Labor professional at our Ontario, OH facility to operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion lines and contribute to sustainable packaging solutions. You’ll monitor quality, perform set-up tasks, and join a collaborative team on a unique 3-4 day rotating schedule.

Expect a 12-hour shift pattern, lifting up to 65 pounds, and a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous training.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Wages range from $18.00–$21.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

The Role

You will operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality specialty films. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that make a real difference.

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule

• A - Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & alternating Saturdays)

What You'll Do

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Wages ranging from $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
• Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
