About ResProp

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician:

1. Performing work that ensures clean, safe, and attractive common areas including pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc.
2. Responding to work orders promptly to ensure resident satisfaction.
3. Prioritizing tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor and team.
4. Providing excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
5. Performing preventative maintenance to maintain property value.
6. Preparing vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
7. Identifying safety hazards and maintenance needs, reporting or correcting issues.
8. Maintaining and repairing critical building and site systems.
9. Using software to track work and performance.
10. Handling various tasks in a dynamic environment as part of a team.

What You Must Have:

1. At least 1 year of maintenance or repair experience, preferably in multifamily or related industry.
2. Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
3. EPA Type I, II, or Universal certification (preferred).
4. Trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
5. Trade licensing (preferred but not required).
6. Own hand tools.
7. Residence within 30 minutes of the community.
8. Willingness to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
9. Dependable transportation and ability to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
10. Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb stairs; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; spend approximately 60% of time walking/climbing, 30% sitting.
