VOA - Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Oaks in Dallas, TX. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks across properties, with a dependable schedule and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of maintenance experience or a trade certificate; valid Texas driver’s license. We offer healthcare, retirement, education assistance, employee discounts and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Or a certificate from a maintenance trade/vocational school.
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor electrical repairs inside and outside units.
• Performs carpentry and exterior repairs, door repairs and tile work.
• Interior and exterior painting; drywall and siding prep and finishing.
• Plumbing repairs including faucets and toilets.
• Completes forms and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Drives company vehicle to maintenance sites across properties.
