Be prepared to start your day at 6:30 AM and finish at 3:00 PM, working 5 days a week with 2 days off.

Every day as a Maintenance Technician - Morning Street Sweeper, you're all about keeping Kansas City's streets and parking lots clean and safe. You start your day by checking and driving our sweeper vehicles to make sure they're clearing debris effectively and keeping everything looking great. You're detail-oriented as you go through each area, spotting any safety hazards and taking care of them immediately. When you're not driving, you're walking around, soaking up the sun, picking up trash, and getting rid of anything that could cause problems for people walking or driving. Your focus on safety and getting things right means our community stays clean and safe for everyone who uses its public spaces. If you think you can handle this and meet the requirements, you could be a great match!
