Job summary

Housing Kitsap is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team, maintaining the physical condition of properties, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting residents with timely repairs.

The role demands experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, plus a valid WA driver’s license and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew; schedule Monday–Friday with federal holidays off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacated units to rent-ready condition including cleaning, repairs, painting, re-keying locks, and repairing woodwork.
• Complete property work orders promptly; tasks include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC related duties.
• Maintain property grounds and assist with procurement, inventory, and vendor coordination.
