Job summary

Allied Residential, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support on-site operations across our properties in the Puget Sound region.

You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety and a welcoming environment for residents. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, about 1 year of maintenance experience, and strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of education and training.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied conditions.
• Must be available for on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance needs, determine scope of work, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in adhering to departmental budgets.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and preparation for new move-ins.
• Attend and participate in required meetings, safety trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
