Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for its Phoenix Distribution Center. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of conveyor, sortation and material handling equipment, along with building systems personnel must operate and monitor control systems.

Requires 3–6 years in maintenance, strong electrical, hydraulic, HVAC and fabrication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training in a related technical field or equivalent.
• 3–6 years maintenance experience in a distribution/industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of MHE, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repair of conveyor, sortation and MHE systems.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and building systems.
• Operate and monitor control systems and multiple computer programs.
• Install new equipment or modify existing equipment as needed.
• Train teammates in preventative maintenance and safety procedures.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain a clean work area.
• Support projects and coordinate with vendors as assigned.
• Communicate effectively and report on equipment status and improvements.
