Job summary
Marshalls, a part of The TJX Companies, is seeking a maintenance technician to keep conveyor and material handling equipment running smoothly at the Phoenix distribution center. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and assist in equipment installation and modification.
Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in industrial maintenance, basic electrical/HVAC knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronics, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor, sortation, and related equipment; heating; HVAC, plumbing and/or other specialized areas to ensure proper, safe, and efficient operations.
- Assist in installation of new equipment or modification of existing equipment, and fabrication and installation of specialized equipment.
- Work in compliance with TJX best practices, safety rules and regulations; monitor control systems to maximize uptime.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain a clean work environment.
- May train and guide others in preventative maintenance and safety procedures.
