Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support McKinley School Apartments and Washington Park Townhomes in Milwaukee, WI. You will handle day-to-day property maintenance, respond to service needs, and ensure residents have a well‑maintained place to call home.

Requirements include 2+ years in property maintenance, HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive pay begins at $23–$26/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience in property management or related trades.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Competitive hourly pay starting at $23–$26 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe and looking sharp.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds; tackle seasonal prep like fall cleanup.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.

We're looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support McKinley School Apartments (39-units) and Washington Park Townhomes, (40-units) two affordable housing communities in Milwaukee, WI. You'll help oversee day-to-day property maintenance, respond to service needs, and ensure residents have a well‑maintained place to call home.

What You'll Do:

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
