Gorman & Company seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for McKinley School Apartments and Washington Park Townhomes in Milwaukee, WI. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, respond to requests, and conduct regular property walks to ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment.

The role requires a minimum of two years in property maintenance, EPA credentials preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in property management or related trade.
• Affordable housing maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe and looking sharp.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds as well as tackling seasonal prep like fall cleanup.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.

We're looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support McKinley School Apartments (39-units) and Washington Park Townhomes, (40-units) two affordable housing communities in Milwaukee, WI. You'll help oversee day-to-day property maintenance, respond to service needs, and ensure residents have a well-maintained place to call home.

What You'll Do

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.

What You'll Bring
