National Vision, Inc. is hiring Maintenance Technicians for our manufacturing lab in Plano, TX.

The role offers a 3-day, 4-day off schedule on 2nd shift with pay plus a 10% shift differential and bi-weekly bonus opportunities. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on optical lab equipment, handling work orders to minimize downtime, servicing edgers, generators and blockers, and performing repairs with attention to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in industrial maintenance.
• Reading and writing English required.
• Experience with electro/mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC is a plus.
• No specific education required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all lab equipment and maintain PM checklists.
• Handle work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production downtime.
• Service and maintain Edgers, Generators and Blockers.
• Identify issues and perform repairs.
• Assist with installations and servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab.
• Follow safety measures, lock out/tag out procedures and use PPE when required.

Our optical manufacturing facility is growing! We're excited to offer new openings for Maintenance Technicians.

Schedules: Our FT 2nd shift positions work 3 days/week with 4 days off. Perfect for those wanting to restructure non-work hours or minimize commutes.

Maintenance Tech schedules may vary slightly and days/hours discussed with you, but core shift hours are:

• Shift 2A: Sundays through Tuesdays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)
• Shift 2B: Wednesdays through Fridays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)

Pay & extras:Competitive base pay (DOE) PLUS EXTRA 10% shift differential AND bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and numerous benefits.

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical lab.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintainingPM checklists

• Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab

• 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.) preferred
• Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required
• Must be able to read and write English
