Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT in Dayton, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Manufactured Home Community) to perform painting, remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, plus landscaping. The role requires autonomous work, adherence to safety standards and pride in resident service.

Responsibilities include system maintenance, pest control, grounds upkeep, budget assist, and general repairs. Candidates should have property/building maintenance experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Property/building maintenance experience preferred.
• CMRP certification is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.).
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed, and hedge trim and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
