We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Westgate Apartments and Townhomes in Manassas. The work of The Caton Companies is meaningful to our communities and society. A Maintenance Technician is essential in maintaining the quality of our properties—fixing appliances, plumbing, electrical issues, and more. Sometimes it gets messy, but the reward of ensuring residents' comfort makes it worthwhile.

Position Details:

• Hourly wage: $28.00 or more, based on experience
• $3,000 hiring bonus paid after 90 days of employment
• HVAC certification required or obtained within 120 days of employment
• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with potential weekend and on-call shifts
• Requires own tools and use of private vehicle

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of building systems
2. Carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs
3. Completing daily paperwork and communicating with supervisors
4. Public relations and proper use of tools and vehicle

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent
• HVAC certification
