Job summary

Urby Harrison is seeking a repair expert to join our maintenance team. You will work with the Director of Maintenance to handle resident repair requests and improvements across our properties.

Starting compensation is $25 per hour. Responsibilities include completing work orders, flooring/wallpaper, painting, make-ready for vacant units, move-out inspections, and minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance or related area.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with tenants and management.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as requested by residents.
• Wood flooring and/or wallpaper replacement.
• Paint/paint touch up.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing.
• Conduct move-out inspections.
• Minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting tasks.
