Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician to perform maintenance duties at a garden-style property. Responsibilities include completing work orders, handling make-ready tasks for vacants, and assisting with grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles or golf carts.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and code.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units: pre-move-in inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are done.
• Access materials and equipment following property procedures; track usage and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities: cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Support cost-control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
