Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and manage supplies while maintaining documentation.

The role requires EPA Type 1 & II (or Universal) refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and property upkeep.
• Ability to diagnose and repair routine issues on site.
• Familiarity with safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Address resident work orders and preventive maintenance per policy.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and inspect work.
• Source materials, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Document service work clearly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and minor painting.
• Conserve resources by repairing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
