Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Make Ready to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time role offers a stable, long-term opportunity at a well-maintained community with competitive pay and strong leadership. You will perform make-ready duties, assist with work orders, and help maintain grounds and amenities.

Starting pay is $20/hour, with $21/hour for EPA-certified candidates. A $1,500 sign-on bonus and on-call incentives add to total comp.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) is a plus.
• HVAC certification not required if willing to train.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

What We Offer

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)

Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You'll Be Doing

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus!
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
