Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with EPA certification to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and on-call opportunities to support a well-maintained community.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, perform routine maintenance, and help keep grounds and amenities in top condition. A customer-service mindset and team orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and carpentry items.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments

What We’re Looking For In A Maintenance Technician

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)

• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• A reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
