Barrett & Stokely is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Noblesville, IN property. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, quick repairs, and reliable service to residents.

You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general upkeep as part of a collaborative team committed to quality and safety. The position requires a Technical school background or equivalent, at least 2 years in maintenance, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Technical school preferred; HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum two years in maintenance or related field.
• EPA certification required; own basic tools preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and update maintenance records.
• Address customer requests for maintenance issues with timely resolution.
• Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance tasks as needed.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Turn vacant units and complete work within scheduling targets.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.

Essential Job Functions

• As instructed by Maintenance Supervisor, complete preventative maintenance activities and assist in updating records of those activities.
• Provide excellent customer service in fixing all customer requests for maintenance support. This includes timely and responsive resolution to issues.
• Complete maintenance service requests involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, drywall, and other types.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled, responds to emergency service requests (after-hour emergency calls) and alert and/or assist Maintenance Supervisor with response to property disasters (fires, floods, freezes, etc.).
• Complete all maintenance work orders within assigned timeframe and make most apartments ready within five (5) business days of vacancy.
• Perform turns of all vacant units as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical school, High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• Must be EPA certified. Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation.
