Job summary

Post Road Management is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to care for residential properties, performing carpentry, repairs, painting, drywall and related tasks. You will handle routine electrical/plumbing issues within licensed limits and support on-call maintenance and turnovers.

Candidates should have experience in home remodeling, possess time-management skills and be reliable, with own tools preferred and a valid driver's license. This role is on-site at our managed properties.

• Experience in residential maintenance and home remodeling.
• Ability to perform general carpentry, painting, drywall and related repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry, wallboard repair, cabinet replacement and tile repair.
• Handle minor electrical, plumbing and appliance issues not requiring a license.

Your ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and communicate effectively will contribute to the overall success of the property.Key Responsibilities:Carpentry & Repairs: Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window and door repairs, and ceramic tile repair. Assist with vinyl floor, cove, and wall base installation.General Maintenance: Handle minor electrical, plumbing, appliance, and heating/air issues that do not require a license. Perform painting and other repairs as needed.Property Operations: Assist with daily operations such as work orders, apartment turnovers, and inspections. Respond to emergency maintenance calls, including on-call shifts as required.Preventive Maintenance: Execute assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the property.Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with the property manager and foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, contractors, inspectors, and staff.
