Job summary

Core Linen Services is seeking a maintenance technician to perform daily and scheduled tasks in a commercial laundry plant. You will monitor equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and address repairs to keep production running smoothly.

You will work with engineering and vendors as needed, maintain logs, and communicate statuses that affect production. Strong safety knowledge and mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• Must be team oriented and able to work independently as needed.
• Must operate tools safely and follow all safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, hot equipment).
• Must understand machinery and assist with repairing drive, conveyors and overhead rails.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Ensures timely and quality completion of maintenance/repairs on overhead rail and conveyor systems.
• Assists technical and mechanical personnel including outside vendors as needed.
• Maintains the maintenance log with entries of tasks and new problems.
• Notifies Supervisors on equipment status impacting production or downtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
