Job summary

CORE Linen is seeking a maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a commercial laundry plant. You will monitor equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and address jams, worn belts, and other issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include maintaining the maintenance log, coordinating with engineering, and notifying supervisors of equipment affecting production or downtime. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be team oriented and able to function individually or with a team.
• Must be able to operate tools safely and follow safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined space, hot equipment).
• Must have good working knowledge of machinery including drive systems and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Completes maintenance and repairs with timely, quality results for all systems (conveyor, overhead rail).
• Assists technical personnel and outside vendors as needed.
• Maintains maintenance log with task status and new issues.
• Notifies Supervisors about equipment impacting production or downtime.
