Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment in-plant. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, boiler testing, and documentation of maintenance activities, with emphasis on electrical, mechanical, welding, and plumbing skills.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work with varied systems, and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics and reading repair manuals & schematics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine preventive maintenance on the property to ensure that plant machines continue to run smoothly.
• Responsible for morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves.
• Handling regular maintenance of lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels.
• Responsible for completing all general and basic repairs on the machinery.
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and document process.
• Identify and report all other major repairs that need to be completed on the machinery.
