Job summary

Core Linen Services is seeking aMaintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks across a commercial Laundry Plant. You will maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot jams, and coordinate with Engineering for complex issues.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, safe work practices, and the ability to work both independently and with a team to keep lines running and downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Must understand and apply safety procedures (lockout/tag out, confined space, hot equipment).
• Strong knowledge of machinery, conveyors, and overhead rail systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as scheduled.
• Complete repairs and maintenance to ensure production stays up and running.
• Assist technicians and vendors as needed and keep maintenance logs updated.
• Notify supervisors about equipment status affecting production and downtime.
