Job summary

Marelli in Smyrna, Tennessee, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Interiors team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This role is based at our Smyrna office and supports uptime and reliability of production equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines, robotics, and related equipment; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; and document all activities per Marelli procedures while collaborating with

Qualifications

• HS diploma or technical cert in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Experience maintaining injection molding machines (ENGEL, Arburg, Krauss-Maffei, or similar) in automotive/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical docs.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Good problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, or on-call.
• Ability to work in US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines, robotics, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Use manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements per Marelli procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Marelli safety policies and environmental standards.
• Support continuous improvement focused on equipment reliability and cost reduction.
