AptarGroup, Inc. in Auburn, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and troubleshoot equipment across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

The role includes replacing motors, pumps, and cylinders, maintaining safety guarding, and keeping the maintenance area clean and organized. Applicants typically hold an Associates degree in electro-mechanical/electronics/electricity and 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing injection molding maintenance environment.

Qualifications

Associates degree in electro-mechanical/electronics/electricity required.
MINIMUM 1-3 years in a manufacturing injection molding maintenance role.
Knowledge of OSHA regulation and electrical systems (24V–480V).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns on all equipment in a timely manner (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical).
Replace motors, pumps, cylinders (some > 40lbs).
Maintain machine safety guarding and clean maintenance area.
Record information on logs/schedules/MP2 system.
Report to Maintenance Manager.
