Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification in industrial maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing injection molding machines in automotive/manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and technical docs.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines, robotics, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Read manuals, schematics, and diagnostics to identify root causes of failure.
• Document all maintenance and parts replacements per Marelli procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Marelli safety policies and environmental standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Maintenance Tech to join the Maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This position is based at our office in Pulaski TN.

As the Maintenance Tech at Marelli, you will be responsible to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. This role is critical to maintaining production efficiency and high-quality standards in Marelli’s manufacturing operations.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines, robotics, and related support equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize production downtime.
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of equipment failure.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements in accordance with Marelli’s procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with Marelli safety policies and environmental standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, process efficiency, and cost reduction.

What Qualifications you will bring:

• High school diploma or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing injection molding machines (e.g., ENGEL, Arburg, Krauss-Maffei, or similar) in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and other safety procedures.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, or participate in on-call rotations as needed.
