Job summary

United States Cold Storage in Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair industrial refrigeration systems, electrical and HVAC equipment, and service material handling gear to keep operations safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in PRW and a solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, safety procedures, and asset management software (Infor EAM).

Qualifications

2–5 years in PRW and industrial refrigeration maintenance.
Proficient in electrical, HVAC, welding, and plumbing maintenance.
Familiar with refrigeration controls and asset management software (Infor EAM).

Responsibilities

Maximize equipment uptime and support facility operations.
Provide cross-functional maintenance support to ensure continuity.
Repair and service powered industrial trucks per safety standards.
Diagnose and prevent equipment failures using electrical knowledge.
Maintain refrigeration logs and system performance.
Assist with general facility upkeep, dock equipment, and HVAC.
Participate in emergency response training as needed.
