Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and refrigeration experience. The role requires reading schematics, welding, and advanced troubleshooting to keep facility systems up and running in a cold storage environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of refrigeration experience, HAZMAT training, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting. Benefits include 401K, BCBS, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Tech school graduate preferred.
• CARO certification if not completed yet.
• 3-5 years of refrigeration experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient electrical and welding knowledge.
• HAZMAT trained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability through advanced troubleshooting and timely repair.
• Maintain professionalism and collaboration with facility leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Understand system deviations and form corrective plans.
• Understand control system maintenance needs.
• Complete Maintenance Technician 1 and 2 tasks and paperwork including battery maintenance.
