CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Fully Qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Lexington, NC maintenance team on 2nd or 3rd shift.

You will diagnose, repair, and verify complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate works independently, leads troubleshooting from failure to root cause, mentors junior technicians, and drives reliability improvements across production.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems independently.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Understanding of VFDs, servos, sensors, motors, and automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Fully Qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician

THIRD SHIFT: 11AM-7AM - ON ROTATION

(SECOND SHIFT ALSO AVAILABLE)

Location: Lexington, NC 27295

Pay: $29-$33/HR + SHIFT DIFFERENCE

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team on either 2nd or 3rd shift in Lexington, NC. This role is intended for a fully independent technician capable of diagnosing, repairing, and verifying complex equipment failures across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate can take ownership of troubleshooting activities from initial failure through root cause analysis while supporting production, mentoring junior technicians, and driving equipment reliability improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and Repair

Independently diagnose and repair:

• Electrical equipment failures
• Mechanical equipment failures
• Hydraulic systems
• Pneumatic systems
• Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Servo systems and controls
• Safety circuits and machine safeguarding systems
• PLC I/O faults
• Automated equipment sequence issues
• Robotic cell and automation failures

Maintenance Leadership

• Lead complex troubleshooting and repair activities
• Mentor and assist less experienced maintenance technicians
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
• Work directly with OEM service technicians and equipment suppliers
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action development

Maintain detailed maintenance records including:

• Failure mode identification
• Root cause determination
• Corrective actions performed
• Parts utilized
• Equipment downtime tracking
• Follow-up recommendations

Qualifications

• Strong industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems independently
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment
• Understanding of VFDs, servos, sensors, motors, and automation systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices

Preferred

• Experience with robotic systems and automated production equipment
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
• Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing operations
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance training
