Job summary

NOVO Health Services seeks a Maintenance Helper to perform repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues with urgency is required, plus occasional plumbing, carpentry, welding, or electrical work as needed.

The role involves reading blueprints, dismantling defective units, and reinstalling parts. It demands startup routines, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols in a busy laundry plant

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems quickly and accurately.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, welding, or electrical tasks when applicable.
• Repair, modify, and install machinery and electrical systems per specs.
• Complete morning startup procedures and logs.
• Inspect and lubricate machinery components.

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, overhaul, and perform preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Dismantle defective machines, replace parts, and adjust feeds.
• Operate equipment to diagnose failures through testing and inspections.
• Maintain logs and work orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow safety and quality standards in a laundry plant environment.
