Job summary

Sterigenics U.S. LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on processing equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical failures, order parts, and coordinate with operations and contractors to restore uptime.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and welding capability, with a focus on safety and adherence to all facility programs. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrammatic instructions.
• Five years of maintenance experience in a processing/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of 480-volt 3 Phase power.
• Ability to read ladder logic diagrams.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and a cutting torch.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine daily maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance on processing equipment.
• Identify problems, collect data, and perform repairs to restore equipment.
• Order materials and coordinate with Supervisor for parts and tooling.
• Interface with operations personnel and outside contractors as needed.
• Adhere to facility safety programs and training requirements.
