Job summary
Sotera Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance on processing equipment at a Sterigenics facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and coordinating with operations and contractors to keep equipment running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Fluent reading of electrical and mechanical drawings.
- 5 years of maintenance experience in processing/manufacturing preferred.
- Purchasing knowledge.
- Know-how of 480-volt 3-phase power.
- Able to read ladder logic and electrical diagrams.
- Electrical motor control troubleshooting.
- Repair and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Operate welding equipment and cutting torch.
- Able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Must lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine daily maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance on processing equipment.
- Identifies problems, analyzes data, and implements corrective actions to restore equipment.
- Interfaces with operations and outside contractors on work orders as needed.
- Complies with all facility safety programs.
- Assists with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
