Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve safety, quality, and efficiency by performing preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance and providing effective troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.

You will handle preventative maintenance programs, identify opportunities to reduce downtime, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and document work orders while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics certificate is strongly desired but not required.
• Experience with preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine plant machinery maintenance and follow the preventative program.
• Identify safety concerns and maintain housekeeping in maintenance areas.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and perform emergency repairs.
• Interpret blueprints to fabricate parts and document work orders.
• Input data into Excel and CMMS accurately.
