Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Houston, Texas.

Position Details

• Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay $28.00+ per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: First and Second shift: 2 days on first shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm and 2 days on second shift 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (flexibility required)

Minimum Requirements

• Vocational/Technical certification or 3 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment
• Computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming, preferably Allen Bradley, Ignition, Wonderware
• Understanding of 24VDC control systems, sensors
• Experience with servo and stepper motors, troubleshooting software
• Ability to troubleshoot vision systems like Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
• Experience operating MHE like forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts
• Ability to work independently, including at heights

Responsibilities

• Complete PM entries accurately
• Utilize maintenance management systems effectively
• Maintain spare parts inventories
• Develop and improve maintenance policies and procedures
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
• Ensure compliance with GMPs
• Establish work schedules to meet demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Participate in safety and Lean programs
