Job Summary

Provide world-class maintenance support that is time-sensitive and cost-effective for the facility and its processing equipment. We supply all necessary tools for the job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to routine and emergency work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Develop skills through training to troubleshoot, determine root causes, and repair equipment and electrical control systems using relay logic or PLC ladder logic.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to others, respond to service requests, and document findings using Microsoft Office, CMMS, and email.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure production capabilities, following manufacturer recommendations.
  • Identify and document deficiencies in environmental systems, safety practices, and production equipment, and implement repairs as needed.
  • Dismantle inoperable equipment and rebuild for future use.
  • Conduct daily inspections of critical plant systems such as air compressors, boilers, scrubbers, etc.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Organizational skills are essential. Basic industrial maintenance experience is preferred. Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC) is a plus but can be developed through training. Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and possess pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing skills to maintain plant equipment.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, handle parts, reach, walk, use stairs, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch regularly. Occasionally sit, talk, or hear. Must lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, high heat, humid conditions, and loud noises, all within OSHA permissible limits. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
