Job summary

The Westover Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Phoenixville, PA apartment community. You will perform routine maintenance, handle service requests, turnovers and preventative work to ensure resident satisfaction.

You’ll diagnose HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues and keep the property safe and well-maintained. Ideal candidates will have hands-on tool experience, knowledge of building trades, ability to lift heavy items, and a flexible on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools.
• Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills.
• Be able to lift heavy items and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work an on-call schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers and preventative maintenance to units and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing-related issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and keep property logs up to date.
• Share on-call responsibilities and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory and keep a stocked shop; perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with leasing and maintenance staff.

He/she will be responsible for completing this work safely and timely to provide our residents with superior customer service.
