Job summary

The Scion Group is hiring a Facilities Technician in Gainesville to maintain and repair our student housing properties, handle preventive maintenance, prepare apartments for turnovers, and manage supply requests. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, delivering high-quality service to residents and management.

Responsibilities include routine and preventive maintenance, documentation of work performed, and ensuring safety and compliance in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and a safety-conscious attitude.
• Punctuality and dependability under deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Willingness to obtain CPO within six months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance to minimize liabilities.
• Execute maintenance tasks and daily assignments for the facilities team.
• Complete work timely and document parts used and notes.
• Assist in ensuring all service requests are completed and tracked.
