Prometheus Real Estate Group is seeking a Neighbor Service Technician III in the Bay Area to maintain and improve apartment environments, ensuring a high-quality living experience for residents. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required with three related certificates (BOMA, IREM, or vocational programs).
• Availability for on-call services and weekends.
• Industry experience: 3–4 years in apartment maintenance; basic plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Leadership: at least 1 year supervisory experience; 2+ preferred.
• Communication: proficient English, written and spoken.
• Technical: basic computer skills; knowledge of building materials and tools; ability to use Yardi and manage work orders.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring they feel at home and cared for.
• Oversee daily operations, handle apartment turnovers, and troubleshoot major and minor systems; coordinate with outside vendors and manage budgets.

Some companies call them "Maintenance Technician III " but at Prometheus our Neighbor Service Technician III do so much more. The Neighbor Service Technician III is responsible for all general apartment maintenance in order to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and to provide a quality living environment for our Neighbors.

• Customer Service - First and foremost, it's your job to make sure our Neighbors feel at HOME, ridiculously well-cared for and genuinely proud to live in our Neighborhoods. Show them tomorrow matters.
• Daily Operations - Every detail counts. As a Neighbor Service Technician III, you are responsible for the timely completion of all phases of apartment turnovers and troubleshooting/repairs of most major and all minor mechanical systems. You will also help with scheduling outside vendors, tracking budgets and financials, and perform administrative support duties for all maintenance related activities.
• Leadership - As a lead, you enjoy mentoring others, providing guidance and leadership to your team. Additionally, you will help the Neighborhood achieve their financial goals through managing costs and being resourceful. You lead by example, setting the standard for the team.

HERE'S MORE OF THE NITTY-GRITTY

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Education - A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, and you must have minimum three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance related courses, such as: BOMA, IREM and/or vocational programs.
• Availability - You must be available for on-call services and weekends.
• Industry Experience - Minimum of three to four years experience and/or training in apartment maintenance. You have mastered the basics of plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs. You are a safety guru and have knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
• Leadership - Minimum of one year supervisory experience, two or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Communication Skills - Ability to speak, communicate, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace including, but not limited to, English in order to maintain safety in the workplace and serve internal and external customers.
• Technical Skills -Must possess basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools. Must be able to use Yardi and manage work orders through technical systems.
• Physical Demands - Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity. Some work tasks are performed outdoors. Temperature is moderate. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation

• Pay Range: $35.75 to $37.00 per hour
