Job summary

Prometheus Real Estate Group in the San Mateo area is hiring Home Base Supervisors who oversee the administration and leadership of multiple properties. This role blends operations, tenant services, and team supervision, with a focus on occupancy, rental agreements, and process compliance.

You will manage personnel, handle neighbor relations, collaborate with finance and operations, and contribute to policy improvements while traveling as needed to support neighborhoods.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Home Base Operations, including rental agreements and occupancy goals.
• Hire, train, and supervise Home Base staff; monitor performance.
• Resolve neighbor service issues with proper documentation and follow-up.

YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

Some call them "Administrative Supervisors", but at Prometheus our Home Base Supervisors do so much more. Our Home Base Supervisors focus on the administration and leadership of multiple properties. Your role is a constant blend of:

• Management of Home Base Operations –Assists with the preparation of rental agreements for neighbors and ensures the collection of specified rents; Assists in maintaining occupancy goals as defined by the operating budget and management plan for each Neighborhood. Provides support for the Home Base team in qualifying future neighbors, verifying applications, performing credit investigations, and creating all associated documentation accompanying the rental agreements in a timely and accurate fashion. Audits and approves move-in, renewal, and move-out documentation as well as delinquency reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with Prometheus standards and fair housing laws. Assists with eviction of tenants in compliance with court order and directions from attorney and owner
• Management of Personnel –Monitors and directs administrative tasks and ensures accuracy of completion by Home Base Coordinators; Interview, hire and train employees; assign and direct their work; prepare performance appraisal; discipline and reward; address complaints and resolve problems using sound judgment.
• Neighbor Relations – Present a professional, efficient approach to remedy any customer complaints and handle service requests with appropriate documentation and follow-up on a daily basis, to ensure client satisfaction; collaborate with on-site personnel in resolving customer complaints
• Department Collaboration –Interact with various managers in the property management, operations, neighborhood operations, and accounting departments to resolve accounting, legal, and neighbor issues.
• Innovation –Suggest changes to existing policies and procedures. Review proposed changes to ensure internal controls are not breached and procedures proposed are practical in relationship to their intended objective.
• Upholding Standards – Perform additional duties and handle projects as assigned by the Home Base Director; Achieve regular attendance in conformity with standards; Comply fully with all Prometheus Real Estate Group rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the Prometheus Real Estate Group’s facilities; Additional tasks as may be assigned from time to time by leadership or others at the leadership’s direction; Travel will be required based upon business needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Other Qualifications -High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years property management experience required.Minimum of two years supervisory experience

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation

• Pay Range: $39.25 to 42.75 per hour
