Job summary

The role requires 4+ years in a maintenance setting, a related degree or 2 years with a diploma, and readiness for overnight shifts (8:00 p.m.–8:30 a.m., Sat–Mon).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical or mechanical maintenance-related field; or high school diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience.
• 4+ years in building maintenance, construction, or mechanical repair.
• 4+ years using hand tools, small power tools, multi-meters and related equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related facility systems.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel macros and pivot tables; Word mail merge.

Responsibilities

• Communicate facility and safety related issues to Facilities Management and coordinate with internal customers and vendors.
• Assist in managing spare parts to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support facility and utility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, life safety).
• Enter, prioritize and complete work orders in the CMMS system.
• Complete facility projects (furniture moves, remodeling, fixtures).
• Perform preventive and demand maintenance with proper documentation.
• Conduct regular building inspections and follow up on findings.
• Respond to outages and assist with restoration efforts.
• Monitor facility system alarms and follow SOP/EHS requirements.
• Maintain GMP documentation and support compliant operations.
