Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform wiring, electrical and mechanical work on CNC machines and automated lines. You’ll diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read schematics, and collaborate with Production Engineering to improve reliability.

The role is in-person, with a day shift, offering competitive compensation and a path for growth within the TMHNA family.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial controls and CNC maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and motion controls.
• Troubleshoot CNC controls, spindles, tool changers, and related components.
• Support installation, startup, commissioning, and improvements of equipment.
