Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time in-person role. You will perform maintenance and repair on facility and equipment, focusing on electrical and mechanical systems, with a team of diverse colleagues.

The schedule is Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with occasional overtime and on-call weekends. Compensation ranges from $24.51 to $31.42 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, and metal fabrication.
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on facility and equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and plan repairs; install new equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors for on-site projects and stock parts.
• Maintain logs and perform housekeeping and grounds keeping.
